Further Service Improvements Planned for 2024

For Client Operations, 2023 was all about bedding-in the restructure, steadily recovering turnaround times, rebuilding staff engagement and retention, and finding efficiencies where possible. All of which paves the way for us to now focus on service delivery and improvements.

A lot has changed over the past year. From our Transact Adviser Survey 2023 we know:

  • 85% of respondents said digitalisation had supported greater efficiency in their business.
  • 90% of respondents (who expressed a preference) said they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’ with Transact’s online functionality.
  • Our transfer processes and transfer support services have all seen significant improvements in ratings this year.
  • Transact developments in the last 12 months have been well received – the ability to move cash between portfolios and the Transfer Tracker report were rated highest.

However, no matter how much we improve our digital service and self-serve options, ultimately, it’s the personal service that always has and always will be the most important.

Whilst we will continue to push for even better results in turnaround times and efficiency, for 2024 much of our efforts and attention will be directed towards some very core service principles:

  • Advisers get to talk to the people who do their work.
  • We will do the things that we say we will do.
  • If we get it wrong – we will be experts in putting it right.

The list could go on! But for us these are what underpin it all. Getting back to basics!

Among various initiatives, we plan to deliver this through increased ownership of cases, much more phone contact so that we can improve relationships and work more closely with you and your admin teams, and a focus on finding pragmatic solutions to any issues that arise.
